Adding Part Exchanges to an order

SalesMaster makes adding a part exchange very easy.

After opening the 'PART EXCHANGE' section of the Order Form and clicking the 'Add New' button, you can add a PX using the vehicle's registration number (VRM).

After adding a VRM, clicking on the search button will open a new panel where some of the vehicles details already populated. You will need to add key details like mileage.

Once the mileage has been recorded, saving the record will return you to the Order Form. Within the Order Form's 'PART EXCHANGES' section, you can record many details about the PX. Any 'ALLOWANCE' added will be deducted from the balance due.

What if the registration can't be found?

First, check it! Sometimes, users can misread the registration or enter it wrong.

When a VRM doesn't find a record, it is still possible to enter the vehicle's details within the panel. Remember to input as much information as you can and make sure that you add the right description.

This is important as this PX will appear in the stock list!
